Once a month, our sommeliers invite a special guest who selects unusual bottles for you, unique in the country, which you can try during dinner at KLONN. These are items no longer available on the market, outstanding vintages and niche labels. This is a unique opportunity to try something new and to return sentimentally to your favorite wine.
This time our guest will be Paweł Parma, sommelier and importer. An extraordinary man, with a great passion for wine. Describing him in a few words is a challenge, it is definitely better to quote Paweł:
“…Passion turned into a career when in 2015 I received the position of sommelier at the Tamka 43 restaurant – at that time one of the brightest spots on the gastronomic map of Warsaw. After a few years, it was there that I met a wealthy Dutchman, my future investor. The acquaintance began in a strange way, because I smashed a (quite worn out) cork of Chateau Haut-Brion 1990, which the mentioned guest had ordered. This became the basis for an inspiring discussion about the “fine wine” market in Poland and the beginning of conversations about the creation of my original import project: Gentleman’s Wine Selection. The core of my selection are French classics (Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne), although recently I have been looking more and more boldly towards Italy. Vintages are very important to me: the best possible ones…” Paweł also prepared the best wines for our POP UP.
It promises to be a special evening full of experiences – both in glasses and during inspiring conversations.
